Speak Up! - Competitions Project

Speak Up: A game from the classmates Vanessa Aranovich, Maria Eduarda Cordeiro, Júlia Weber, Nathália Macedo e Helena Krauzer. Group: 9º C
A nice word-game witch you have to think fast if you don't want  to get treacle with cream.
Watch the video or, if you prefer, read the rules.

You will need:
23 cards with the alphabet’s letters (A to Z);
27 cards with the categories (Example: Animals, food, places);
A lot of Whipped Cream

How to play

It needs two or more players: the more, the better;
You must divide the cards in two groups: one for the letters, another for the categories;
You have to raffle one Letter card and one Categories card;
In their turn, the players should say one word with fits in the category. The first have to say a word with the letter shuffled, the second with the next letter, in alphabetical order.
Whoever hesitates on their turn loses the round. The loser gets whipped cream thrown to the face, as it’s “price”.

Rules

In the first match, you can sort the order of the players as it seems better to you: playing data, even or odd, or reach a consensus. At the other matches, the first player is the one who has lost the previous game.
You mustn’t select the cards: they have to be chosen randomly.
The players can make a circle in order to move the game quicker, going clockwise or in the other direction.
You can’t repeat already-spoken words, otherwise, you lose.
In their turn, each player must answer a word in, at maximum, 5. If the time’s up, the player loses.
If the alphabet finishes, you should continue, re-starting with the shuffled letter.
You don’t necessarily have to throw Chantilly, if you don’t have or if everyone has disagreed with this part. However, the game will be much funnier with those cream pies!
