RHYTHMIC GYMNASTICS:


            It's a sport that combines ballet, gymnastics, dance and apparatus, it's amazing to see the gymnastics impress the judges. It's a sport that changed a lot during the years, because inicially it was just for womans.


            Rules:

-The apparatus they can use are: hoops (can be wood or synthetic material), ribbon (a strip of satin attached to the cane), balls (made of rubber or soft plastic), clubs (used in pairs and made of wood or synthetic material) and a rope (made of hemp fibers).

- The solo presentation has one routine that can last between 75-90 seconds in a square mat.

- The 5 gymnastics perform two routines between 135-150 seconds.

- The gymnastics and the apparatus can never stop; they always have to be in movement.

- In the group presentation they have to identical leotards and have their hair tied back.

- The judges evaluate and decide the points for each gymnast.

- The gymnast with more points wins.
           

Natalia Gaudio: she is a Brazilian individual rhythmic gymnast, and she is the 2014 South American Games All-around silver medalist. She started rhythmic gymnastic when she was 6 years old, at 8 she was already competing in Brazil and with 14 she was competing internacionally. Since then she represent Brazil in internarional competitions
