Chosen sport: Beach volleyball
Basic
characteristics:
- It is played by two teams, but each
composed of two players.
- Just like in a volleyball, the objective
of the game is to throw the ball over the net to make it fall into the
opponent´s court, and prevent the opponent do the same.
- Each team can touch the ball three
times before throwing to the other side.

And so begins the dispute of each of
the points. Disputes continue until the ball hits the ground or is not
manipulated by the players.
- The dryers of each team must be
alternated every time your team score a point after the opposing team.
This year in
the Olympic games, Brazil was represented in beach volleyball by the masculine
double: Alisson and Bruno and the female double is Bárbara and Agatha. Respectively
both in first place and second place. The winners of the female double are Laura
and Kira of Germany.
